Why should I cover the Race Radiator / Headers of my R9 with an Evotech Guard?
A damaged radiator from road debris or unexpected impacts can lead to unwanted breakdowns or costly repair bills. The Evotech Radiator / Header Guard Set has a unique design for the Yamaha YZF-R9, precision-shaped for an accurate fit and scalloped to follow the curve of the machine, with rubber bungs to cushion the EP Rad Guard should an impact occur.
Manufactured from aluminium with a durable powder coating, the hexagonal matrix of holes allows consistent airflow whilst maintaining strength. For the finishing touch, the large EP logo is usually only applied to race-spec radiator guards for BSB and TT motorcycles.
Returns & Exchanges
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 30 business days of receipt. While we offer a hassle-free return policy, some non-defective items may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Returned items must be:
- New and unused
- In original condition
- In the manufacturer’s original packaging
- Include all tags
Returns due to manufacturer defects will be accepted only if the customer provides photographic evidence showing the issue was not caused by misuse.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 24–48 hours to the original payment method (minus shipping fees). Please allow an additional 2–8 business days for the refund to appear on your account.
Before returning any item, please contact us at support@motostarz.com or call 1-236-481-2222 to obtain a return authorization number. This number must be clearly marked on both the inside and outside of the package.
