Description

The Halo-1 technology is another big innovation by TST Industries. Two years in the making, this product took a lot of R&D to design just right. With the most advanced optics in the flushmount signal market, a shape that is contoured to the outer geometry of the fairing and fits perfectly within the signal well, and true plug-and-play installation, this system has proven to be a hit! The running light function has a glowing halo (patent pending) in a color of your choice. During signaling, the halo element turns off to eliminate color bleed. The signaling circuit packs three 1W amber LED chips that fire a super bright signal through a lens packed with light dispersing hexagonal dome optical elements. As a result, you have a very bright and noticeable signal lamp that can be easily seen from the front and side. The installation takes just minutes by simply plugging the signal into the harness, pushing it into the fairing well, and fastening it down with the provided hardware.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: The plug-and-play installation has been confirmed on American models where the OEM plug has three conductors. If you are ordering from outside of South and North America, please check your signal plugs first. In case your plug has only two conductors, please follow the instructions found in the INTERNATIONAL tab.

Some bikes outside of North America will only have 2 pins. For bikes with a two pin signal plug you would take the pins out of the three conductor plug on the halo-1 signals. The wires in our plug have crimped on metal connectors. You will insert the halo-1 black wire crimp into your plug position that has the green wire. Then the halo-1 red wire crimp will go into the remaining slot on your bike's plug. Use electrical tape around the plug with the pins in it and make a nice tight electrical tape junction. You will be left with the green wire from the halo-1 signals. If you leave it disconnected you will not have the running light. At this point you can run a wire from the positive lead on your low beam headlight to each of the green wires on the halo-1's. This will give you running lights when the bike is on, and they will shut off with the bike. You can also opt to run a wire to the positive terminal on the battery and use a fuse and a switch on that connection. The fuse should be immediately next to the battery, and the switch should be accessible somewhere for you so you can switch the halo-1 running light on and off at your will.
