Is an EP radiator guard really necessary?

100% yes. An EP radiator guard protects the MT-09 radiator from light and severe damage caused by road debris, while allowing cooling air to pass through. The Yamaha radiator consists of thin cooling fins and internal cores - the fins easily bend and block the passage of air, which will eventually lead to overheating and reduction in engine performance. The internal cores could also be holed by debris, such as a stone being picked up by the bike's front tyre or other traffic and flung directly at the radiator. The result is rapid engine overheating, and if the slippery coolant sprays onto the tyres it can cause sudden loss of grip.

Returns & Exchanges

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 30 business days of receipt. While we offer a hassle-free return policy, some non-defective items may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Returned items must be:

• In the manufacturer’s original packaging
• Include all tags

Returns due to manufacturer defects will be accepted only if the customer provides photographic evidence showing the issue was not caused by misuse.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Once your return is received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 24–48 hours to the original payment method (minus shipping fees). Please allow an additional 2–8 business days for the refund to appear on your account.

Before returning any item, please contact us at support@motostarz.com or call 1-604-370-4899 to obtain a return authorization number. This number must be clearly marked on both the inside and outside of the package.
