With its neo-retro styling, this exhaust features?black-coated double conical mufflers?constructed from high-grade?stainless steel?with a lightweight?titanium link pipe. The design and lines of the exhaust have been specially developed to integrate with the bike, and the system is finished with a sandblasted stainless-steel heatshield to protect the rider?s equipment and a laser-engraved Akrapovi? logo on the muffler for a classy and refined look. During the development phase, the engineers focused on throttle response and rideability, with performance enhanced by a?0.9 kW (1.2 hp) increase in power?and a?torque gain of 1.6 Nm, both at 6,200 rpm, when compared to a BMW R 12 nineT equipped with a standard stock system and tested on the in-house dyno. Weight is reduced by 10.6% over the stock exhaust, and the Slip-On Line (SS) delivers a deep and sporty sound, which meets type approval for an EC/ECE certificate. This exhaust is a plug-and-play installation that requires no remapping. The exhaust system also fits on the BMW R 12 standard version.
Return & Exchange Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 30 days of receipt of your item. We have no hassle return policy but some non-defective items may incur a 15% re-stocking fee.
- Returned parts must be in brand new, unused, unopen and in original condition, and returned to us in the manufacturer’s original packaging with all tags included.
- Returns will be accepted if problems from manufacturer exist under one condition. That the customer provides evidence with pictures that can prove that the fault was not of there own.
- There are absolutely no returns, no exchange on electrical, special/made to order items, windscreen, body work, carbon fiber parts, closeout items or used parts.
- No returns on any Ducabike, CNC Racing, or Ermax products
- You are responsible for all shipping cost associated with getting your order back to us.
- Once your return is received and inspected by Motostarz. We will process your refund and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment (minus the shipping fee) within 24-48 hours. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-8 business days after your credit is applied for it to be posted to your account.
