By carefully logging ignition timing, per-cylinder fueling, and thermal management limiters, we created an excellent calibration that delivers strong performance across all temperatures and fuel octanes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eOur Stage 1 Aprilia RS 660 ECU flash converts the bike to full “Alpha-N” fueling while utilizing the factory oxygen sensors for precise fuel corrections on and off throttle. Improvements in throttle response, rideability, cruising, and of course power, were immediately apparent. In 60–130 mph testing, we achieved a full second improvement from stock to flashed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAdvantages with Stage 1\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul dir=\"auto\"\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eOn average, gains of \u003cstrong\u003e4 hp peak\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003cstrong\u003e10 hp under the curve\u003c\/strong\u003e over stock—and even more for the Tuono.
